Hello Reader,

I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. I'm taking a moment to breathe just a bit and reflect on this past year. My homemaking routine has definitely felt disjointed and a bit chaotic as we have learned to adjust to new routines.

Once we get past the holidays, I know I will set aside a bit of time to intentionally create goals for many aspects of my life, even homemaking. I consider homemaking a career, and I want to be successful.

There are certainly seasons when homemaking feels completely overwhelming. When I'm going through those difficult times I'll occasionally read through these inspiring homemaking quotes or read The Homemaker's Prayer.

I do intend to update my homemaking goals post in the next few weeks, but for now I'm thinking a lot about how I can streamline many of the things that I do, and what I can make easier and what I can let go.
